Clean the eye socket with acetone, glue the eye into the socket with Zap or? , form a clay ring around eye for forming the eye skin around the eye. Good luck. Dont forget that Tony Finazzio also makes great heads.

Take a syringe and inject water into the eye ball of the original. Using calipers, take a lower jaw to middle of pupil, measurement, end of lobe to middle of pupil measurement, and a width measurement from outside of eye to out side of eye, using apoxie sculpt, set your eyes to these measurement.  Use a small amount of clay to create a small eye ring around the outside of the eye to help hold to skin while drying.

Tony also has really nice detailed DVD's. Well worth the money. It will show you everything you need to know about mounting your birds.
