hi had a customer bring in a elk head that had creaks around mouth...the nose was also apoxie...the mount itself looks good  ,but way to much apoxie  in the mouth and nose..i have never tried to  remove this stuff they went way overboard with this stuff....any help  thanks in advance.....

All I have ever done is just pull it off. If it is in the hair the hair is comeing off with it. Good luck maybe someone will know a better way.

Epoxies once cured are the decimation of "permanent". Try prying it off but you're likely going to have to replace chunks of foam that will be pulled out.

Don't know what it looks like but I have used a dremmel tool with a small grinding stone on it to remove Apoxie sculpt on stuff I have done. Works pretty good. If you grind off too much then just add a little more to get the desired effect and paint.

A small cutting bit on a dremel will work, but you just have to becareful how deeping you are cutting with it. I have had good success by just taking my time with an apolstry pin and a small hammer. Now before you guys freak out, it works. You just have to becareful and don't hit the needle real hard. I have had it just chip out little by little this way. All you are doing is lightly chipping it out.
