Here's mine, I've only used it a few times but it seems to work well.I use a foot pedal to control the speed. I should have made the plexiglas shield go all the way around cause the fat flies on the floor, and a wider wheel would be helpful also.

My dad and I built this one following online instructions from a site.

He took apart his Tile Cutter and used it's motor as he considered it safest to work with, since it automatically stops if something jams in the wheel. I think it's a 6'' wire wheel on atm, and the flexi-board is removable for easy cleaning.

Used it a few times and I'm still scared of it! LOL

No Tex, That just means you're busier and/or they're way cleaner than you and I! My wheel is pretty greasy too! I do line the box with grocery bag paper or meat wrapping paper on the walls and the bottom when fleshing for easy removal of duck butter. I have a piece of plexiglass that slides out for cleaning the hood.
