Hello, I am going to mount my first moose and I have never mounted any.

 I would like to know some advice not to spoil the animal.

Spoil?  Have it professionally tanned, charge enough, reference!  If you've mounted deer, it should be no problem, taxidermy basics are all the same just bigger and heavier!
