I would think any type of thinner or acetone would clean it up just fine.

Lacquer thinner. Lifetone being lacquer I would think that 1+1=2 so lacquer thinner.  Did I mention Lacquer thinner.

If using water-based colors, the best cleaner I've found is a mix of 1/3 water; 1/3 Windex; and 1/3 Wildlife Colors Cleaner (WCC8004 in the latest McKenzie catalog).  Windex alone works well also.  I found that trying to use laquer thinner to clean my airbrush between colors didn't work well when using water-based paints -- it caused more clogging.

Laquer thinner for laquer-based paints, of course.

Lifetone is lacquer,  Hydromist is water based.

If you don't already have them, get some of the little airbrush cleaning brushes, just shooting thinner through the gun won't always get all the paint out, it might need a little scrubbing.

Perhaps you should also learn to take your airbrush apart and clean it thoroughly

Here's an idea that I've found works pretty darn well; spray lacquer thinner through airbrush to flush out most of the paint. Then use lacquer retarder as a final rinse, leave some in your cup / bottle for storage. It seems to prevent the leftover paint residue from hardening and when you start up again, the gun limbers up right away.....works for me!

Well Cloudycr, It looks like you asking this question, taught me a few things too.  I assumed thinner would take care of water based paints too, but from some of the responses, maybe that's the reason for some of my issues. Thanks Lone Wolf!
