Had a 12' this year where you could see that another gator bit down on his snout.
These big lizards take on some horiffic wounds and recover. They are amazing

Something beat the crap out of him when he was little but he survived to become big, old and mean. Had to be tough to get that big with that sort of damage.
Ditto on seeing that one cleaned.
