I am working on my first gemsbok and can't find any reference on the color of inside nose please post pic or just let me know the color thanks

I am sure someone else can tell you for sure. Michael P does some of the exotics in Texas and I know he did Gemsbok or Oryx with bling for a client. I am pretty sure the color is very dark, nearly black. I am adding a couple pics but they arent really close ups

I did a lot of African game and for gemsbok I would mix 2 parts brown epoxy sculpt to one part black and get a nice dark brown interior.

They are dark brown and fade to a pink WAY up in the septum. Unless your client is a taxidermy judge, dark brown is acceptable.

I agree dark brown almost black to flesh at the very back of the nostril. As for pictures I use Flicka photo sharings website to pull up pictures for reference when I can't find it anywhere else. Great site for pics of almost anything. Just go to site and type the animal you want to look at in the search.
