Does anyone know if there is a tutorial explaining how to attack an artificial neck to an artificial head? Also, i bought some clay and was curious as to where i should put it on my head. i noticed some people put it around the eyes. Would you use clay for cheeks and the top of the head or would caulk be better for that?

Here's a  couple of Wingtips on attaching an artificial head to a hand-made neck. The concept is essentially the same.  Wink

Caulk, you can shape it with a small brush.

I use caulk injected in the head through the ear holes after I get the eyes set, with clay. I use clay for the eyes and caulk for the rest. Use hot glue for attaching an artificial head to the foam neck material, I drill a hole through my head and make a flat loop on the end of the wire. Insert wire which is tight, fill full of hot hot glue.
Put hot glue at back of head, slide necking up to that, wait for it to cool. Then you can use some black electrical tape to make a few wraps around the head/neck union to make it more smooth. Finish off with caulk. I put my head/neck together before I attach it to the bird body.
If you have your neck wired in, you can do it after the same way.
