DEGREASERS (best for bear/pigs)

What do you guys think of using lacquer thinner as a degreaser on tough skulls such as bear and pigs. I am doing a few skulls this year and used to use thinner years ago when I did skulls. It seemed to work very well but I know some of you have done thousands of skulls and have a lot more experience. Besides the obvious fire hazards and fumes what do you think of Lacquer? What would you recommend using to degrease bear/pics after beetles if not lacquer thinner? Thanks for your help!!!

I macerate bears and hogs, it jump starts the degreasing, then its a 3 day soak in 10% ammonia. then the regular dawn/water heated mix

I've used dawn/borax and water boiling. It worked very well and then put some 40 vol peroxide in clean water, boil and the skull is very white, and very clean!

And in a few weeks, there is grease dripping out of the skull.......

I use amonia, but I still have my bears and pigs in the regular rotation of amonia and heated dawn. Then only time they go into a sealed container is for acetone towards the end. Are you guys putting them in straight 10% + and leaving them with out any changes?
