are rudy ducks hard to hunt hard to find no body wants to shoot the ? i like to look though Bird week Gallery and you dont see that many of them .i like to look though the gallery to see others work and get ideas. dont people like to mount them or are they to hard to find?

They're kind of on the bottom rung of desirable ducks to hunt. They were called splattera##es where I lived.

you can come to north florida and kill thousands. most of them off the water though because they are not vary wary...

i know a spot that holds hundreds. i stop by every other year or so and shoot a few mounters. there actually sad to hunt. if 20 land in you could easilly kill them all. they dont fly when shot at, they dive and pop up like carnival weasels. anyone who targets ruddy ducks dont like hunting they like killing. now if they were all primed out looking like they do i the summer then im sure youd see them mounted more but the winter colors are actually pretty ugly.

I get yelld at wen I kill ruddys tastsd good to me but ive never seen more then 2 at a time and I cant tell a drake from a hen in huntin season

i just googled ruddys and yea i guess all i see is hens becasue they dont have that white cheeks.
