The answer is art.

Here is a letter I just received. Juried by a panel and had two people do interview me last week.

February 1, 2012

Dear John,

Congratulations!

After reviewing your recent application and photographs of your art, our panel of judges has chosen you and your art for participation in The Art Odyssey Studio Tour 2012.

You are one of 33 area artists chosen to be on the 2012 tour on May 18, 19, and 20.

You are invited to attend an informational meeting for all 2012 artists on Tuesday, February 21 at 5:30p.m. in the Knox Room at the Donald W. Reynolds Library.  You will have the opportunity to meet each other,  discuss the tour, receive instructions and suggestions, and ask questions.  Please make every effort to attend this very important meeting.

Watch for your name to appear on our list of 2012 TAO artists on our website, theartodyssey.com.    Information about  becoming a FRIEND OF THE ART ODYSSEY and much more is also available there.  As you consider helping financially, know that all funds raised will be used to promote what is now YOUR tour!

Again, congratulations on your acceptance, and thank you for your interest in and support of our endeavors to promote talented local artists.

Yours in Art,
