Hi everyone, I am doing a coyote shoulder and I've done everything up to applying the McKenzie leather oil. I was getting ready to mount when I dropped an eye and it chipped. Now I have to wait a few days to mount until I can get anther eye in. This is my second customer mount and I don't want to ruin it! Can I put the hide in the freezer for a few days? If so would I roll it fur out or skin out? What do I have to do to get it mount ready after it unthaws. Thank you so much!

I've been looking on the bottle and online but the McKenzie Leather Tan does not even say how long to leave the oil on for! Thanks for replying so fast, this feels like an emergency to me Smiley

Let the oil soak in for a minimum of 8 hours.  Then roll it up and put it in the freezer.
