If that is your second deer and you mounted it by yourself I believe you did an excellent job. Sure there are a few things you need to improve on but who of us does not. Keep up the good work.

Antlers appear set too high. Brisket out of whack, looks messed up. What happened? Not bad for #2. Are you learning on your own? 3bears
I thought the antlers looked too high too but the skull cap was actually lower than the form and i had to build it up with clay. Yes i am learning on my own with the help of videos and this great forum.

Nice! I see the brisket problem and the hair line on it left side. looks like you didn't get the skin pulled back far enough. Maybe the shoulders on the form were to big or not enough stretch on the skin. The hair around the bottom of the antler burr should make a tight little V with the hair, right in the center of burr. The edges of the ears look nice and crisp. The eye shape looks pretty good. Try back brushing the hair next time and it will look softer. What brand form did you use?
I used a 6900 McKenzie, i was not able too get the brisket where it needed to be cause the form was a little big and this cape was very small, i ordered the smallest form in the line, thanks for pointing that out it really stands out to me now that a few people have commented on it. I'll get it right next time;)
