Make sure everything is completely dry before you put envirotex on it.

ok so i did anyother pour using envirotex. just wait for it to set up now. ill post pictures once it sets up and i put the beaver on it.

I would've suggested Envirotex as well. I used it in a water scene for a beaver a few months ago with no issues. I use it for just about everything water related.

The envirotex is only good for still water mostly as it will always settle flat because of its slow set. Polyester resin has a controllable set rate so ripples etc can be created.

very new myself to taxidermy, but i did read and see videos on this. and what they did was airbrush different shades of blues and greens on plexiglass before they did the pour. colors would be up to you on what your looking for. but they maybe someone that knows of other ways on here to do it. good luck
