This is why we, as taxidermists, are our own biggest enemies. Few of you have ever taken even the most basic of economics classes and if you own stock, it's likely the result of gifts, gratuities, or benefits from a corporate employer. As gab says, it's capitalism at work. It's NOT one of our suppliers. As D says, those guys already know more about the industry than we do. Good corporations surround themselves with knowledgeable people. If these guys truly wanted technical information, they'd be calling McKenzie TO GET IT. Their top employees are a litany of experienced and educated people who've become successful simply because they DO know the industry.
I see this as some investment group exploring to try and secure their belief that the venture will work. The economy is tanking and they'd be silly not to research their prospective investment. Only idiots like Obama throw billions of dollars at pie-in-the-sky ventures and he only does it because it's not his money.
I haven't TAKEN a call from anyone (and no,I'm not heartbroken)but unless I know the caller or recognize the number, that's why I invested $100 in an answering machine.
Damn George, we agree on something.
