I never had green show up on the skull before. I beetle them and roughly degrease for 3 to 4 weeks . could this be something in my water. I have well water. I process about 200 head a year and never had this problem. I could see the green color before I even tried to whiten them. does anybody have any ideas on this. any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I have copper pipe throughout my shop. But most older buildings do and I never had this problem before.and peroxide didn't take it out. I use 40 volume peroxide. Any ideas?

When you degrease do you use green soap? I had a WT nasal cavities turn slightly green about a week ago, I put way to much soap in. I have been using only water for that head and the green is coming out.

Copper or brass in your degreasing methods is what was meant. Those metals react with peroxide and can cause green bone. A product called "Iron Out" will sometimes work if it's not too bad. But, good luck is all I can say on that.
