Are Mandarin Ducks Considered Domestic/Farm Ducks or are they Considered Wild ducks? Googling it has resulted only in more confusion..

Mandarins are technically wild ducks. They are native to eastern Asia.
They are also, however, quite common in private aviculture...like Wood ducks (to which the Mandarin is closely related). A handful of genetic color mutations (such as white, apricot, and silver) are kept in captivity besides the standard Mandarin.

There are also quite a few feral populations throughout the world, here in the UK we have a lot of "wild Mandarins due to escapees, b they breed in the "wild" quite successfully.

But, a Mandarin is not native to the U.S., so they can be raised without a permit, and bought and sold and mounted and sold.

Out of curiosity, MT, can call ducks (esp. call ducks related to mallards) be mounted and sold? What about hybrids between native species?

hybrids between native species must have paperwork. call ducks and mandarins can be mounted and sold. call ducks are considered by most just to be a different breed of farm duck.
