Don,
Would your cup method work on a barricuda head with all those nasty teeth left in, or would I need to remove most of the larger teeth?

Triple R,
Not sure ? I know it works for trout 3-5 lbs, with teeth left in.

Guess my post wasn't clear enough.  Yes Don, I have your tutorial memorized...  My question is....   can I mold a head inside and out in one piece?  as in removing the gills, and rakers, at the top, and at the tongue..  would I mold the inside, from gill cover to lips, then the outside as per your video?  then how do I support this, and get the resin inside? maybe thru an eye hole?  Then I wan't to mold everything else sepperate.  the throat latch, with tongue, and the gills, with rakers attatched.  Dan

Dan,
My tutorial molds the inside of the fish head complete including tongue, gills etc. and it molds the outside also...in one pour.
The pic shows me pulling the finished brook trout head out of the cup mold. It is molded inside and out at that point. Mouth partially open.
If you are going to mold, say a largemouth bass, with the mouth wide open and gills flared, yes, I think you would remove and mold seperate the gill rakers.
Either way, it sounds like you have a plan...
Best of luck Dan.
