Hey Bill Yox .Bet you you do know its me lo. Hope nobody bet with you. Im Bill Anderson 2317 Kendall Rd.Kendall NY.My ebay user name is mtmantax.Im not ashamed to let you all know what kind of CROOK I am.I run full time shop just me and my dad.I spend over three months per year in old barrns, cold storages, butcher shops as well as the tailgate of my truck"freezing my ass off.Skinning and capeing about 500 deer to sell on  EBAY.I do have some help nights in the shop finishing out the heads and some tear ducts get cut and skinning and fleshing nicks happen.I have to flesh inspect measure catalog photograph and box them in foam lined boxes. Then answer all the ebay questions print lables and deliver to PO.Some damage gets over looked.Im not perfect but I try hard.As you said if they let me know they have a problem I do make it right. It the cowards that talk behind your back that hurt you.One NEG on Ebay and 1300 Positives.Isnt too bad selling items that I do.I have had the same user name for over 11. Hey bowfish Get your facts straight I have had the same username on EBAY since Aug 2001.
Its too bad a few people will spoil it for the thousands of repeat happy buyers I have had over the past 10 years.I probably wont be selling next season cause Ebay and shipping rates rising but mostly the hassle caused buy the few unhappy people that wont come to me with a problem and talk  *hit  behind my back. Thanks Bill

It wasn't *hit, I didn't embellish one bit, you fudge on your sizes, and you cut the caps as short as you can to stuff them in tiny boxes. You will not see my money again. Your idea of making things right is having the buyer pay to have it shipped back to you. That almost guarantee's that they will eat the problem. Who wants to pay to get their money back?

Mr.T aka I Do give them back all shipping costs. It costs them zero dollars. When I see the cape is not as I described it or its spoiled.Last week 2 came back from the same buyer. He said they smelled so bad and one was slipping he had to take them out of his shop.He did even check the second one. They were 3 days in the mail to him "he said rotted"and 3 days coming back to me.I dont even know if he froze them over the weekend.I fleshed and salted them as soon as they were returned to me.They tanned up perfect using liqua-tan NO SLIPPING.I still gave him all his money back as well as the postage he paid.I dont fudge the measurements, and im not naming tanning methods but there are alot of tans out there that shrink capes drastically and have NO streach.Over the past 34 years as a fulltime professional taxidermist I have tried them all.

I worked in a cold meat processing plant for 14 1/2 years ;then sweated in a foundry for 5 years and 17 years running a high speed 300 ton press sometimes 7-10`s for three years in a row 2 times in that 17 year stretch so you see we all have a story.I still stick with what i said in my post your 24 inch capes were way under sized.and i seen people question size in there feed back to ; as far as a crook i can say i`am sorry for that , but have to wonder about your honesty.

Damn, I stand corrected! I guessed the wrong guy, you shoulda bet me, lol. I have known Bill Anderson for a lot of years here locally. I can say that if you bought a cape from him, and have a legit complaint, he will make it good with you. I heard through the grapevine he bought way over 300 capes to sell. Good luck Billy.

i just figured with the name Mtmantax2012 on ebay you just change the year on the end and start over every year.
if you have been selling on ebay since 2001 why was your feed back zero this year when you first listed the capes?

as far as ME making a threat posting bad feed back on ebay after you replied to me i didn't post any feed back at all.
i posted your reply on taxidermy.net to refund me if i sent them back.
i posted your ebay user name and town you live in because others on here where wondering if you where someone they where thinking of.
i didnt say anything bad or untrue.

it is good that you are a member of this forum and can defend yourself.
as i stated in my earlier post you where so close to making this deal a good one.
a little more care in skinning the pre-orbital gland and maybe spray them down with stop rot before you freeze them.
otherwise packageing was good and the cape where as you described.
good luck in the future.

The guy that said he sold to you was one from MI on e-bay; and the reason i never got a hold of you is because the capes were fine except for the neck size and just threw them in the freezer as house or back up capes.

So I purchased a cape from mtn man taxidermy..I thought it was too small..I contacted the andersons and they invited me over to replace or whatever..
well ended up it was my lack of experience more than the cape..He worked with me for a couple hours. Great guys him and his dad. Had a good time. They gave me a little instruction and I watched him work for awhile..Anyways cant say enough..
Thanks

Just about a year I had the opportunity to spend a week at Bill Andersons shop for a whitetail course.  From my experience I can honestly say he takes pride in everything he does from mounting professionally to teaching to selling capes on ebay.  I know that if needed anything I can pick up the phone and he would give me the help I need.  Even from different experiences of my own we have our guards up when we buy online because scammers and theives are all over the place now adays, but most of the time its honest mistakes or miscommunication.  Hell,  he even dusted off that wallet and bought us lunch on the last day of class haha!
