Hubby is helping out this year and mounted a deer with two part ear epoxy and liners.  Good news, it is one of ours, not a customer mount.  Problem is, there is a quarter sized hole in the back of the ear, right at the tip, where the earliner is showing through.  I would have patched the area, but alas it is now too late.  He basically just didn't put any epoxy there, so the white earliner is showing through.

My best guess is to take some Apoxy Clay and texture in some hair pattern with a brush, then airbrush to blend and go.  It is a half back ear, so it is going to show a bit, though it is on the inside of the turn.

When I asked why he didn't call and ask me before he did it, he said he was confident I could fix anything!  EEK!  I am not so confident.  Undecided

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
