I noticed there isnt a flying or standing pose. How do they need to be altered. Ill be ordering all the ones i need probaly next week, and his heads.

I use them.  If I ever need to flatten one out, I will rasp it down a little.

I should of been more clear, What about leg and thigh position on the flying compared to standing. What position are the forms you get.

I don't usually alter bird bodies for pose, at least for commercial mounts. If you measure the carcass, you can mark the hip joints on your mannikin.  Then, using the thigh length measurement and reference material, you can obtain the proper leg position for your pose.

Shawn73, my bodies are designed without the thighs. That makes it easier to interchange bodies between species. Simply choose the body that's closest to your measurements. 1-Measure from the shoulder to the hip joint. 2- Measure the length of your thigh. 3- Attach your drumstick at that point. You can attach your drumstick more forward or rearward for flying, standing, or any position in between. If you want it more exact, leave your thigh attached to your drumstick for proper leg movements. Also the bodie are cast from top to bottom so the breast is a little expanded. This makes it easier to shave the sides down to fit your bird better. Also you don't need a tail slot. The tail itself is a shelf. Simply glue the tail quills down to it, or cut the whole shelf off if you want to add any twists, turns or cupping to your tail. If you have any more questions, just call 252-745-3493.
