Anyone else ever do this? I gave it a try on some deer scraps, and like the effect.

i used a burnmaster and some custom made handles/nichrome wire tips i made...good for embossed look on leather

Thank You. I am going to practice more; I did burn through on the mane, as you can see in the photo. At first, I did not like the burning hide smell, but it grows on you! (hopefully, I am not creating hazardous fumes, lol.)

I was also thinking of doing it outdoors. But I can get a respirator if need be. (haven't done it in a few weeks, but I will definitely keep this in mind.
