Spent my whole life lookin' back
 Not lookin' ahead to see
Trying to keep my feet on track
Doin' what was expected of me
Kick my shoes off so they can't trace me
 Leave no forwarding address
Before they all drive me crazy
And I leave 'em all in a bloody mess

Double barrel, I am quite experienced in the phenomenon of allowing my alligator mouth overload my hummingbird ass at times. All you can do is apologize (which you did) and just move on.  The only person who could be offended doesn't seem to have been.  I'm one of those people who holds a grudge (Mike isn't), so if anyone has a problem with you, it must be THEIR problem. You're fine.  Forget about it.  Move one.  And don't be a stranger.  When you're part of a "family", you can always have a good knock-down, drag out, and still show up at the dinner table later.
