For forward ears or relaxed-forward I use McKenzie's Actual Ears. They have good shape and I especially like the fact that they are cast out of a semi-flexible tough material. For any custom positions,I make my own from celastic. The same for mountain lions.

I'm not a cat expert but a friend of mine does some great cats (but says he's not a cat ear expert), and he likes Matuska's celastic ear liners. I have not tried them yet personally, but he did also recommend using some sculpting epoxy in that little flap at the base corner of the ear.

unless you have experience in sculpting in detail i would use the most detailed liner you can find, and as you start to learn and gain experience with anatomy you can downgrade and add detail yourself

I'm no cat expert either but I have had good luck with thinned down bondo just like I use in my deer ears. I make sure and squeeze it out of the the little flap when I am doing it and then use apoxie sculpt for it.

I use Jan's alot, they work really nice most of the time, but like Jim stated, for custom poses I like to make my own.

I use all game. No mess like bondo, sets up slow. IMO on any cat the ears are as important as the eyes for expression. And this gives me plenty of time to adjust for attitude.
