But apparently, they are still walking around!(LOL) Woke up this morning and had 7 bucks in the back field, all with both sides! Only two little ones in the group with an 8pt easily in the 150's, and a good 140" 10pt that is going to be a good up and comer. I am going to do my best to get both sides from that 8, his G-2s look to be around 14"! I knew it was too early here, I usually don't start looking until the end of this month. I'll find some then Ron!(LOL)

I did the same thing a week or so ago and while shed hunting I kept jumping racked bucks lol.....kinda hard to find shed's when der on der heads Also got a call from the neighbor and he had a 10 in the 150" 's ( so .....125 lol ) and 5 scrub bucks outside his picture window at his bird feeder (probably a 10ft tall pile of apples) I guess since it has been such a mild winter they're hold'n tight! Good to know there will be more than scrubs in the area next year......yea 2 year old scrubs...right up my alley

Broke right after the brow tine, looks like decent mass, short tines. Cant imagine the sound of those main beams crackin when they come together hard enough to break em off.

Hey Matt, I'm hearing that they are holding on to them longer this year. Could be because of the weather. At any rate, I haven't found one pair so far either.

Hey western KY boy here, and I saw several still walking around here this morning. I think it will be a few weeks here yet.

Yeah, that is what I figured when I seen all those bucks in the back the other day. I have been watching alot of bucks and don't want to go back in there and push them around yet. I will watch and wait until I see some half rack action going on!

Matt, I put my game camera back up, and some have dropped, some not. I will wait until the camera shows all dropped , then I will look. I don't want to push them out, like you mentioned, to drop somewhere else.

bucks in my backyard are still making tree rubs....every few days we see new ones....some right up near the garage or house....why would they be making rubs this time of year

It would be nice to see a buck at all for me.  Here in South Georgia where they are hunted 4 months a year they are nocturnal.  I miss living in the North and West where you actually saw more of the deer than just tracks and trail camera pictures............
