thank you, I am proud but know I can and need to learn more. It is my father's largest deer from a few years ago and he has never really cared about mounts, (on the handful he had mounted he always went the cheap route) so I wanted to give him something we could both be proud of.

I think you should be proud of that mount, it looks  nice. Just for the fun of next time, try to play around with the eye rotation just a little bit on the left eye, it appaers to be looking just a bit to the left and out into space. Try to dremmel just a little of the  left inside corner of that eye and see what happends. I think you'd like it.
Good job.

Very nice job. I agree that the eye rotation does not look natural though. The deer is turned right and looking to the left and up. The ear butts look a little full and undefined to me as well. Overall it is a very good looking mount that most customers are going to be thrilled with. Keep up the good work. Down the road-

Looks like your grooming is coming along nicely! As far as the rotation, looking back to the left is natural and I set them like that all the time, but yours does look alittle off. If it were me, I would take alittle  out of the bottom half of the socket to rotate the eye alittle more in the downward position. Nice job though, keep at it.

Nice job, deer looks great, I agree on the ear butts, just a little tweeking on the shape, otherwise very nice. I deer can rotate his eyes in any direction reguardless of his head turn. AS Matt said, we were writing at the same time.

Wow looks great to me.  I got one of my dads to do as well and it will be hard to do.  You always want to make your dad proud and I'm sure your dad is.
