im planning on getting my tank up and running today and was wondeering if
you have to prime a skull before painting and dipping? thanks brad

I prime my skulls with a high fill primer. I think they need it because they are so porus. the dip always looks way better to me but i am definatly a rookie. I dont know if your aware of the liquidconcepts forum but it will help with tons.

Make sure if you seal skull that it is one hundred percent cured before basecoat or wrinkling will occur. I wait 2 days to be sure cause the first one that wrinkled on me was the last. I'm in AZ and very dry here but 1 day was not enough that day. I own a hydrographics shop and will answer any questions. PM me if needed... Jay
