I bought a mink from here a while back when it got here it was still cold from being froze got it out last night skinned it this morning washed it and put it in the tumbler it came out with half its hair ?? is there a reason it did this ?

Well, we know the mink was rotted. Now whether the terminus of that process happened before you ever got it or while you thawed it, skinned it and washed it is a question only you can answer.

mmm the carcass was still very cool when I started this morning I had it skinned washed and in the tumbler less then a hr so do you think it was to warm before I got it just looking for ideas I have another to do and just dont want to do it again if it was my fault but not sure how it would of been, I just dont do many mink is why I ask

It's doubtful that what you did affected it that way. Likely lay in a trap on a sunny day and was spoiling before it was picked up. Then it rode around for awhile and was thrown into the freezer. The damage was done before it froze and when you thawed it, you got the after effects.
