Tanning Question

This maybe a silly question but I have looked all over the site and cant seem to find the answer......Can you tan multiple animal hides at the same time with out harming the hides? ( I assume you can but would hate to be wrong and mess them up)  I have  Mule deer, bobcat and raccoon hides that I am going to tan with Lutan F. Can I put them in the tub at the same time?........this will be the first time I have tanned anything myself........Thanks!

I tan 8 deer at a time and have been for 15 years. I would make sure and put them in the pickle all at the same time.

The Raccoon will need an extra degreasing bath for best results.

I have just started mounting squirrels and i know that i can get away with just borax or salt. i was wondering id i degreased fleshed and boraxed a raccoon it would do fine like the squirrels? i simply do not have the materials for tanning but i have borax and salt.

I am just starting out with taxidermy.....I think you can dp anything. Raccoons are REALLY fatty so you would need to clean it really well. Tanning would be the way to go but back in the day dp was all that was done I think.
