sorry doug but that ref pic doesn't show white on both sides. look again that is white on the front side but the back is the deer's skin showing. I'm not say it isn't possible but if you are saying that ref pic does well look again. AJH for the most part a little in the back is ok or a little in the front but not both at the same time is common. This one all depends in the rotation of the eye and the way you want him looking. Deer will show both sides white when they are dehydrated.
Some deer have different size eye openings. The eye ball may or may not be the same size on most deer but the openings are sometimes different. Take people for example. I've gotten in deer that have huge eyes and shows a ton of white (I use all pre rotated for commercial deer cuz customers love the white and they don't know the difference if its correct or not) and then you get deer with tiny eye openings where you can't even get a pre rotated white to show even a little. Had one come in this year both eyes where different. The one was slightly on the small side and the other was really small. Looked terrible so I cut a little off the back eye lid on the tiny side and made it look much closer to the other eye. Couldn't even tell when it was all done. In your case your deer may have huge eyes. Unless you are doing it for competition just make it look good (like a deer) and call it good. Some deer are just odd balls.
