Is it the alum ?

I have krow tann that is about 3 yrs old never been open, and I have read the old forums about it but now am worried about it's shelf life, I got two difrent messages from the forum is there anyway that I can tell if it's still good without ruining somthing. Is the alum what goes bad ?

just shake the bottle good and use it....alot of the chemicals settle and stick to the bottom after that long

had skins sitting in alum for nearly 10yr with no problem..

Krowtann contains only trace amounts of alum. As Crab Crazy says, just shake the bottle.

The oil tends to separate after a while. Just shake well or add a bit more Krow oil and shake it up again.
