I have been using Krowtan to preserve my deer capes, and on several of them I get a little slipping just below the the ears. Has anyone had this problem or know what I could do to prevent this? Thanks

sounds like your taking to much time turning them, the heat from your hands will build up fast, and cause it to slip.
I use Krowtann and have for years and never had a problem with slippage.
Jim.

try wearing jersey gloves with latex gloves over top while your turning the ears until you get faster at it.

Try some Stop Rot while in the process of turning and fleshing.
