It is just that you are in an unconscious state of mind and not aware of your surroundings and counting deers in your dreams and wondering and hoping some damn person will show up tomorrow and pick up a finished mount so it isnt hangin around anymore cause i get tired of looking at them after a while and they are usually the same people who have to make sure every little detail is taken care of and then they proceed to call you and say hey i was just checkin in bud to see where you were at with my buck and i say oh it should done next week gonna give it a couple more days to dry to be on the safe side then i just have to do the finishing work then i will give you a call then i call them and tell them thats its ready to be picked up and it looks great and they say oh cool cant wait to see it ill be down friday and get a check to ya then 300 fridays later the deer with a couple of its other buddies is still hangin around so what do ya do ya know sometimes i take them in the house and switch them around from time to time until the wife says hey you should bring some fish in because its more spring timey and it matches the decor better to have a couple3 trout on the wall instead of deer though she loves the pronghorn up around christmas time cause we put jingle bells around its neck and suprisingly enough i like the way it looks santa should have had 8 antelope instead they are much faster and dont tend to slip on black eyes as easily

Well I took two days off for a little R&R. Went to NYC with the wife and we took a train and then the subway. I never in my life (not even after skinning out 6 stinky flea and lice infested foxes) did I want to rush home and take a shower after the subway ride!!! Visited the village, SOHO and times square. I wonder how a taxidermy shop would do on 5th ave? I now know why I stay away from those kind of tourist places! LMAO Would anyone BUT ME think it would be funny as hell to walk around all day in NYC with a WT shoulder mount strapped to the back of a backpack? I think it would be Hilarius! I would ofcourse film it. LOL
