I know what you saying I think the smaller the mount gets the harder it is to handle. Just did two of them  :-*this weekend and my price goes up with every one I do.

Lol I feel u the next one I do will cost a 1000 dollars lol I'm bout to get like I am with people pets had a woman last week want her cat mounted till I told her my (8000) dollar price way I figured if she was dumb enough to pay that id mount it guess she couldn't read the big bright sign on the door do not ask I will not mount ur pets but heck squirels are bout as bad to little for me

I hear ya on the those dang treerats. I tell people my price and they ask why so much, it is just a little squirrel? I say that it is the same work as a bear just alot smaller and more intricate. I have only done 1 and I like it that way. 3bears

x2 on the freeze drying, just raise your prices and wholesale them out. You still make some money and all you have to do is deal with the customer and ship it off. Not to sound biased or self promoting here, but it just so happens that I do wholesale freeze drying for fish, small mammals, turkey heads, deer feet, reference deer noses, ext the list goes on. I don't do many but i charged $200 a piece for the last couple and almost felt guilty until I started working on them, I still didn't charge enough!
