I think your bill color is off on the BBWD, looks all red in the photo.
I've gotten some birds from Dave, and they have been really nice!

stand in front of a mirror and lift one leg....see how your weight shifts to center of other leg....bird will do the same

alot of it is the picture, the flash on the camara, makes the bill look to red. i did put modge podge on the bill though. heres another shot of him:. i did put some black on his nostrills also, just cant see it in the pic.

There should also be a hint of yellow on the top of the bill check reference sometimes its hard to see or less noticeable but its there
