What Taxidermy supplier has the best shipping rates, I live in NC and like some forms from out of state but not sure how much more the shipping will be? And or how much does this effect everyone choosing a company to get forms from?

It depends on what shipping carriers they offer. Usually you can request a carrier for example UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, Spee-Dee, ext.... I'm not sure if Spee-Dee delivers that far south, but if they do I would recommend them, not only are they usually half the price or less than UPS but they also seem to take way better care of the packages.

if you have speede go with them. but if you dont i suggest going to the closest supply company to you, to save on shipping.

Definitely Spee Dee in Wisconsin!  No comparison when put against UPS, Fed Ex or USPS.  Unfortunately they do not deliver to all States.

If speedee covered the same areas as the rest they would cost the same. The other 2 big ones are close in price, but hell on packages in my experience. It has been stated before if you have to concern yourself with shipping, maybe you should raise prices. I think we all cringe sometimes when we see the shipping charges but unfortunately it is part of the business. There are ways to offset shipping charges others have posted on here in the past. 3bears

Speedee did jack me up a few weeks back. I typically mount two deer a weekend and have a schedule for getting things done. I finish two deer on Monday nights. I shave two hides on Tuesday nights, neutralize and oil Wednesday mornings, and tumble Wednesday evening. Then I order two forms after measuring. I usually get them on Friday and set antlers, rasp them, and dremel them out. I get up early on Saturday and usually have two deer mounted by 10 am and the rest of the weekend off. When forms dont show up that jacks all that up. Happened a couple of weeks ago and they still dont know where they went. McKenzie had to reship

I've gotten to the point that "I don't care what the shipping costs, as long as the service is good!" I build the cost of shipping into the price and forget about it.
If Spee Dee ever gets to Idiana...I'll give them a try.
