Night and day difference. But, you may wish to refer to some ref pics for those cheek stripes. Should be one more that's visable and the existing two stripes aren't quite in the right location and should taper more along with they're a bit harsh. JMO...

I'm not seeing glare where it should be, but I'll take your word for it! The top stripe is still off. It should end up higher up where it extends out to the gill cover. And those stripes get narrower as they approach the eye. For future reference...

try breaking up the barring pattern on the side a bit, it looks too symetrical and uniform, look at some reference pics and youll get a better idea about what im refering to.

Top bar on cheek needs to end up in line with horizontal body stripe. The second cheek stripe ends up at the right spot but needs to start at the bottom of the eye like it did on the original. Then you need the third cheek stripe that will almost parallel the upper jaw.

Definitely a big improvement. Doesn't look like the best blank to get to work on but I suppose you have 2 start somewhere. I would start with breaking up the horizontal bar pattern and working on the cheek stripes, but I couldn't really offer much of a critique since bass come in so many different color variations unless you had a reference pic to go along with it. A lot of the bass around here you can barely see the cheek or side patterns and the sides have little yellow and kind of a bass green metallic color to the sides.
