Yeah,  you're more than 10 years younger than me!  I just took classes on game heads and fish the past couple weeks.  I had never tried taxidermy before that and I loved it.  Just started building a studio in my basement and bought a couple practice capes on here.  Bring it!!!

I started doing fish 3 years ago, I am now 52, this year I shall be doing a stand at a large event at considerable expense to myself, it may pay off or it may not, but as Stargazer rightly said, IF ONLY...  And if I don't try I will never know.

i just turned 43 and mounted my first two deer this year along with a few ducks. never  to old!!
