Nice! Hoping to get my hands on one of these guys next season, so I'm filing these away for sure.

bucksnort10, great link to one of my favorite ducks.

And Thank You for your own generous and terrific contributions to the Reference Photos. You certainly help make it a wonderful resource.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'WOW - What a Ride!'

Thanks smalliestalker!  It is nice to be appreciated.

Being a hack taxidermist, reference photos is one thing I can bring to the plate to help out the masses.

I enjoy reading the posted comments and viewing the mounted birds by others.  There sure are a lot of talented people out there.  I am always amazed at the mounted bird pictures that are posted.  Wow!

When it starts warming up here in the next couple of weeks I am going to make a picture taking run for some waterfowl in their spring plumage.  I hope to get some pictures of some black ducks as there haven't been many posted so far.

Thanks bucksnort for taking the time to post the awesome pics. I had an oldsquaw gifted to me so I'm sure these will help.

DMAC1175 good luck with your mount.

I too am in the process of having one gifted to me and one of the flying poses looks like one I will try to duplicate.
I did a drake oldsquaw as a gift for a friend about 3 years ago and it turned it really nice.
