Hi, guys, I recently ordered a seminar DVD from WASCO and am dismayed at the shipping charge of $37.00 to me here in the UK.  Now, I often buy DVDs from the states and most charge around the $10.00 - $15.00 for shipping.  I feel this is very expensive and I am glad I didn't order many more as was my plan.  I won't be buying any more from them.  What do you guys think - excessive or not......

WASCO is by far the worst out of the supply companies for shipping to Iowa at least.  I ordered a form once, $66 for Shipping.  I ordered an Eppley nose once, $17 for shipping.  WASCO is closer to Iowa than Trufit and their shipping is half as much.  Not sure how they get away with it, but I won't ever order from them again because I can't justify the shipping cost.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

I think you should be taking this up with the company, and not here.  These days shipping out of the US to anywhere is pricey.  So is the way of the world.

WASCO is now owned by McKenzie. I dont know how they compute the shipping charge but it seems to me the shipping company would be the ones to set the price on it unless McKenzie is charging extra for a handling fee. That wouldnt surprise me.

I send DVD's to Spain occasionally and a Priority Mail flat rate DVD box at the post office costs $16.95.  Definitely call WASCO about that.

Agreed ... Flat Rate Priority is one of the best shipping ideas in a long time!

Hi, John- I took the matter up with the company expressing my dismay at the charge when I often get DVDs sent from the states from $10.00  - $15.00 elsewhere.  No joy.  I only posted here to see if others had the same experience and what they thought.....
