Air brush help

I have bubbles blowing into my paint cup when i push down on the trigger on both of my badgers and my Iwata. What parts need replaced?  I cleaned everything best I could and can't see what would be causing this.

any ideas?

That is usually a sign of a split tip , R-003 on the badgers if they are the UF set up.

Care needs to be taken when seating the needle during reassembly. It does not take much pressure to split the tip. Look close at the tip with a magnifying glass. You will see just how thin the tip of the tip is.

 The replacements for badger run around $7,  the Iwata tip was around $30 last time I needed one.

Make sure it is assembled correctly
Some how air is diverted back to the brush
I did this a couple weeks ago, and I had it assembled wrong

if you have a dual action airbrush, if you just push down without pulling back, the air has nowhere to go and will back up into the cup...

(its like if you have a drain in your house and no vent pipe out the roof.. the bubbles will come back up into the sink)

Bubbles usually indicate a leak in the nozzle or nozzle cap. Clean everything up really good. Buy a wax toilet ring. Coat the threads lightly for both the nozzle and nozzle cap. Dont over tighten.
