mounting open mouth flemming white tail

first Flemming white tail mount with half jawset, not sure if i need to trim jawset and how to finish the skin to jaw junction help!!!! have McKenzie form with removable nose. the jawset is hinged together with two posts, don't seam to line up unless i separate them, help!!!

Who's jaw set are you using. If you are buying one, I would get Meders. As far as the skin to the lip line, I rough up the jaw set up to where the lip line is. You can use sand paper for this. Cut the lips off the cape just where they will meet the lip line on the cast. Then use a good hide paste to glue skin in place. Tuck the rest of the lip skin in the form as usual. I use PRO1 glue. Keep a eye on it until it is dry. Don't let the skin pull and you will have very little finish work.

id sand the lip cast, wipe it down with thinner. Id prob use super glue to keep the edges to the cast so it sets quicker then blend with epoxy sculpt later on.
