Got a question.  Almost every price list I have ever seen the mule deer costs between $25 and $50 more to mount than a whitetail.  Why is that?  I have it that way on my price list but only because thats how I have always seen it.....

Hi
I also charge the same for each.  Maybe some up-charge by the size of the ears...just kidding.

Strive for perfection.  That way if you fall a little short it'll still be pretty darn good.

Forms a dollar or two higher, bigger shoulders ( more to flesh ) More tanning oil, and those big dumb ears. They don't seem to have the strength of most whitetail ears, so you'll have to slow down some. Its worth a little more because you're doing a little more..............

I charge $25 more for mule deer because it takes me an extra half hour to an hour to sew up the completely opened cape versus a short Y that most of the whitetails I get in have.

Yes I do, all shoulder mount black bears are the same price, just as all button bucks are the same price as Boone and Crockets.
