WING"TIPS" #10 degreasing wheel cleanup

Hello! Thought I would put up a simple ''tip'' Cleaning the wheel is something I used to hate to do, I would leave the ''gunk'' build up till I absolutely HAD to clean it. NOW all I do is take a 5 inch putty knife and basically ''scrape the wheel clean after every couple birds. On Really fat large birds I actally scrape the box several times during the wheeling process to stop '' dripoff'' onto the feathers. I have used this wheel for over 20 years replaced the box a couple times and need to replace the ''shelf'' which catches the majority of the fat, BUT the original motor is still up and running, I have to spin it by hand to get it going and can actually have it spin in either direction which works well on certain ''tough skinned '' birds as the wheel in the opposite direction is very coarse. It's about due for a new brush as the original 4 inch bristles are down to about 3/4 of an inch.Anyway here's a small basic tip that may make your wheel cleaner and your studio less stinky

Thanks for another great tip Wingman, I just went back and read all of your past wingtips, and can't believe how much I still need to learn. Sooo much to do so little time.
