Wondering what the best way is to treat driftwood for insects.

If you are worried about insects, I would place in a oven around 175 degrees for a couple of hours.

I put the driftwood in water with clorox in it.

Large heavy duty trash bag and a can of raid. Spray, tie off bag, and wait a day or two. Works for me. Smiley

 Buy tumbled ceder it is a natural bug proofer. Mark it up 100% and you win both ways.

If it's small enough, stick it in the microwave for a couple minutes. It will kill any bugs and will also speed up drying.
