Wingman I was wondering on your walking pheasant mounts if you use the femur bone so you can get proper leg placement or do you just use the tibia bone ? I would sure like to see this on Wing Tips some time thanks for all your past tips and please keep them coming Terry

Wingman I was wondering if you use the femur bone when doing walking birds to help get the right leg placement I think this would be a good topic for a future Wing Tip also I hope we do not burn you out picking your brain so much but I know you have provided a lot of good tips keep up the good work  Hambone

I see you have most of your bird "groomed" before the head is attached. I never have enough time before my mandibles start to dry out. Any clue as to why?

Oakcreek, Your mistaken, I put the bird on the stand,secure it and the first thing I do is attach the head and get it done, I do grooming etc as the bird gets positioned BUT most of the final grooming is done when the bird is fully positioned. I am putting together some pics on wiring from the hip down.

i have problems when i glue the skin one the head back around the bill on my birds, how do you get a really good meet of the bill and skin? where do you glue? the problem i have is with the feathers right under the glue not laying down right, or not having any body to them.
