Acrylic painting of a jungle cat. I forgot what kind, because I painted it at least three years ago.

All I can say is WOW. I am definitely not in the same league. I wish I would have taken lessons at some point, you guys are amazing. Here is a whitetail I did the a couple weeks ago while watching TV. Seeing all of the drawings on here got me wanting to try some.

Cole, that whitetail is very good.
Lessons? I don't know about the other people that posted art in this thread, but I never took lessons..I have been drawing since age 3 and get better every year. It's all about practice.

Your right, it is all about practice. I too was drawing at age 3. After high school I stopped drawing, and therefore never got any better, (probably worse) Here I am 13 years later wishing I'd never quit drawing/painting. Guess I've been getting my art fix through taxidermy. You do fantastic work, and the improvement in the work you have shared over the past year or so is amazing. I think a lot can be learned from lessons, wether in drawing, painting, carving, or taxidermy for that matter. Hopefully someday I'll take the time to take a lesson in drawing or something similar. Lord knows I could use a few taxidermy lessons as well, LOL.
