update aug 24.
antlers have stopped growing. winter coat is coming in. bob broke off his drop point Cry I will show the velvet coming off (first two weeks in Sept) and bob with hard antler.

bob shedding velvet on the 7th of Sept. Last year he shed on the 9th. 2nd photo taken on the 12th of Sept.

do you have a picture of a buck that is shedding it's velvet.  I would like a reference for the color of the horn when it is freshly shedding.  I have to mount a buck with velvet hanging off of it, and can't match a blood color paint.  Thanks
