Sealing down the powders and the pencil work as John Sanzo, Dale Robinson,Allen check out the diffrent ways to paint color.

My wonderful host and new friend BOD Dan Callan (non fish guy LOL but I'm working on him) LOL checks out the seminar.

90% finshed fish just a bit more tipping and off to the auction block!

Here's a nice 23" brookie I recently painted up. This was caught close to my office 75 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Rick, it is absolutely fantastic that you carried all that paint detailing into the fins too.  Dang, you know what you're doing!   Wink

Paul, stunning paint on your Brook Trout!  I'd love to see your painting results on a spawning Arctic Char or spawning Dolly Varden...

Nice LM Bass and Bluegill, too.

interesting story behind this one, fish was caught, the guy called dnr on his cell and asked for a certified scale to be brought to the dock, fish was weighed and released.. it was the state record around 19lbs.. then he wanted a repo made. my second walleye repo..

I enjoy this thread so much--I don't comment all that often at the awesome jobs you guys do since I don't feel "qualified" so I just admire quietly.  I've said it before but you're all true artists-- you guys recreate the beauty of fish so well.   Some dioramas are breathtaking.  One of those IMO is the perch bucket by fishstuffer---wow--how cool is that?  One more thing....thanks to you seasoned fish guys for sharing your work and tips and especially to Rick for keeping this thread going---I don't want to get all squisshy here but you're all inspiring. Thanks to you all,  Pete
