I promised I would post some reference pics of European perch, so I had to go fishing last weekend (life is hard). I managed to catch some perch, so here are some of the pics I took. The pics may be useful for European and Australian taxidermists, and for the Americans who would like to paint their yellow perch reproduction a bit different. Enjoy.

This perch came from more clear water. The sides are greener and the bars more obvious.
